If I was...

If you were a book, what would your subject be and who would read you?

I would a book similar to the works of Paul Arden and George Lois. Books that encourage you to reach your full potential and be the best you can be. As well as the content of these books, their design is also their layouts are interesting, intriguing and creative. I would be read by ambitious you creative and entrepreneurs who want to better themselves and improve their skills.

If you were a package, what would you contain and who would open you?

If I was a package, I would be a high-end item of clothing, probably a shirt, with a sophisticated yet simple finish. The package would contain well designed high quality promotional information for the brand as well as the item that would be wrapped. When received I would want to feel like an added extra to the clothing rather that a mere utility.

If you were a shop, what would you sell and who would buy it?

I would be a bespoke, alternative, high end men’s fashion space. The shop would sell the finest clothes from cross the globe, ranging from streetwear through to tailored suites and a full range of accessories. The shop would be a merger of traditional English tailors with a modern, creative, contemporary boutique.

If you were a poster, what would you promote and to whom?

I would be a simple and effective e poster promoting a bar or restaurant, like Graphic in Soho. As it would not be an ordinary bar or restaurant, it would be promoting something more creative and something more fashionable and contemporary the poster would have to fit with this. The poster would promote to creatives, most likely young creative who enjoy their gin.

If you were a brand, what would be your values and why would they be important?

If I was a brand I would strive for perfection, provide a high quality for my clients, rather an experience than a formal engagement. I would focus a lot on quality and ensuring it was kept to such a high standard. With these qualities it should help gain new clients as well as hold on to those that already used the brand.

If you were an exhibition, what would you show and where would you show it?

I would be a display of creative, innovative and influential art, design and fashion. The work showcased would mostly be contemporary. The gallery space itself would consist of large spaces with a plain concrete floor, perfect white wall and a constant light source. As a location the exhibition would be put on in and cultural/creative hubs; Berlin, Barcelona, London, Paris, New York, Etc.

If you were a leaflet, what information would you contain and who would read it?

If I was a leaflet I would be a menu or a drinks list for a fancy yet alternative restaurant that serves gastronomic food and awe-inspiring cocktails. This would mean I would be able to be of a high quality whilst also having a quirky and different edge with a mixture of styles and influences.

If you were a sign, what would you show, to whom and where?

If I was a sign I would inform people to take the road ‘less traveled by’ so that they can make an impact with what they want to do even if it requires a lot of work and graft.

If you were an App, what would you do and who would use you?

If I was an app I would be able to identify clothing and accessories from photographs. This would mean that you could take a photograph or upload an image of someone and the app would give you details on the clothing, the brand, the price and where it can be bought. It would be used by anyone with an interest in fashion and clothes.

If you were a blog, what would you be about and who would follow you?

If I was a blog I would be about all and everything that interests me, including; fashion, football, food, drink, art, design, literature, music, etc. I would be simply but well designed, easy to navigate, aesthetically pleasing to look at and engaging. People who would follow me would be creatives, fashionistas, mavericks, alternatives, interesting people, etc.

If you were an event, what would it be and how would you promote it?

I would be a football match with the two teams composed of the best player to ever grace the beautiful game. It would be a celebration of football in its purest form, no corruption, no money just a game of football. There would be no involvement by FIFA and the game would be played wearing unbranded retro style kits and all the kit would have the branding removed. This would be something that would be promoted word of mouth and a limited supply of flyers, making it an exclusive event with an element of secrecy.
