Why did I choose to study graphic design at Leeds College of Art?

-   The tutor/student relationship and interaction.

-   Quality and standard of the work and designers that have come out of LCA.

-   Professional opportunities and business preparation.

-   The drive and experience of tutors (working professionals).

-   The structure and the intensity of the course.

What do I want to learn whilst studying graphic design at LCA?

-   How to become the best that I can be.

-   Specific software/digital and practical skills related to my strengths.

-   Ability and knowledge to step into the professional design world.

-   Skills and knowledge required to become a successful graphic designer.

-   An in-depth knowledge and understanding of the business of graphic design.

What are my strengths within graphic design?

-   Ability to see what visually see what works on an aesthetic level.

-   Understanding of language, it forms and its uses.

-   Will work until the brief/task is completed to the best of my ability.

-   Talk/describe/present my work articulately and clearly.

-   A digital and practical understanding.

-   Understanding of type and its fundamental properties.

-   Focused research and development into areas I want to improve.

-   Testing and experimenting to understand what works and what doesn’t.
